When photographing people in a studio it is important to respect the rights of the subject or model. In most countries people may be photographed in public places, and the images used commercially, without obtaining consent. However, if the co-operation of a subject was obtained, or photographs were shot in a private place, it is reasonable to seek permission before publishing images. The normal way to do this is to ask those concerned to sign model release forms specifying how the images may be used. A parent or guardian should sign release forms relating to images of minors.

OPS Model Release Forms are available here.
