Photographers wishing to submit a book proposal to the Society may do so by email only. All such proposals should be directed to the editorial office. Paper submissions are not accepted. Proposals should include a detailed synopsis, table of contents, and a sample chapter or section including all relevant text, illustrations and captions. At least one sample image from each of the other sections or chapters should also be included.

OPS books are published on a print-on-demand basis and are not intended to achieve mass sales. Prospective authors are perhaps best advised to regard them as a way of publishing and preserving collections of work which might otherwise never be made available to the general public. The books tend to be expensive to produce and are therefore unlikely to provide authors with attractive incomes.
