Pin-hole cameras can be used to obtain macro images having unlimited depth of field and free from linear distortion. This is particularly useful for close-up and wide-angle work. For the red/cyan 3D images of the bronze door panels of St Frances of Assisi Church, Santa Fe, New Mexico, the camera was positioned just 18 inches from the panels.
